Installation of 1300+ meters of 1/4” SS316L tubing for multiple gases including Nitrogen, Oxygen, Hydrogen, and Helium was completed using advanced PYPLOK® non-welded technology for a high-precision lab project at the CSIR-Central Institute for Mining and Fuel Research. The system ensured leak-proof performance, faster installation, and long-term reliability, with successful pressure testing up to 12 bar.

Aneer Engineers, a leading gas solutions provider was awarded with completing the tubing for a Mining & Fuel Research Lab in CSIR-CIMFR (Central Institute for Mining and Fuel Research) - a Government of India Undertaking.

The tubing had to be done for variety of Gases like Nitrogen (N2), Oxygen(O2), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Carbon, Monoxide (CO), Helium (He), Hydrogen (H2), Argon (Ar), Methane (CH4), Krypton (Kr), Xenon (Xe), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) and Acetylene (C2H2). All fittings lines were of 1/4” OD.The tubing, as they contained gases had to be routed at a height and away from the reach of access so that there was no danger in case of tube damage and leak.

Pressure Testing

Once all the lines where connected by PYPLOK®, the system was pressure tested. The pressure test was done by the respective system gases and held for a period of 24 hrs and checked for leak in the gauges (at the manifold and the lab)
