Hydraulic Piping for FL Smidth Filter Press

Bawal, Haryana

2021

hydraulic motor of filter press
Fabrication of hydraulic piping for four filter press systems, including flaring, bending, pressure testing, and flushing. Using non-welded 37° flare flange technology, the project handled up to 315 bar pressure across 350 meters of piping. Fabrication and testing were completed in-house in Haryana, ensuring high quality, reliability, and timely delivery for industrial hydraulic piping systems.

A leading engineering company had a requirement of Fabrication, Erection, Pressure Testing and Flushing the Hydraulic Piping for their (4) Four – Filter Press Equipment. Cenergy Offshore (CO) having expertise in this field was approached for this job. The pipe spools had to fabricated, tested and flushed in the customer’s lab in Haryana and then had to be moved to the site to be finally installed and commissioned.

CO team fabricated the piping according to the customers routing requirement and successfully completed the pressure test and flushing within the set timelines. The fabrication (Flaring, Bending) was carried out using CO’s in-house equipment like Tube-Mac Flaring Machine, Bending Unit, Pipe Band Saws. Further, flushing and pressure test was also done using in-house equipment.

Features of the granulator hydraulic piping system are as follows:-

  1. Technology : Non Welded Piping – 37 Degree Flare Flange System
  2. Pipe Sizes : Metric- 25 mm x 3 mm, 30 mm x 3 mm, 38 x 4mm, 50 mm x 6 mm, and 60 mm x 6 mm
  3. System Pressure : 315 bar
  4. Piping Length : Approx 350 mtr (4 lines – Pressure, Return, Drain, Flushing)

The scope of work was as follows:-

  1. Fabrication of pipes – Flaring (37 Degree Flare), Bending (Non-Welded Piping Technology).
  2. Fitup of Piping System.
  3. Pressure Test of Piping System.
  4. Flushing of Piping System.
