PIPE BENDING MACHINE
Bending tube or pipe should be considered as a cost effective alternative to the use of elbow fittings. The advantages of the use of bent assemblies include the reduction in the number of fittings, a smoother flow and reduced pressure drop. Tight radius bends are possible but the larger the bend radius the better. Recommendation is 3 to 4 times the OD of the tube or pipe. A Tube- Mac high quality bender will help make the job easier, reduce the time to complete and reduce scrap – As the Tube-Mac Tube Benders are designed for just this purpose.
The manual hand “Tube” bender is available in a range of sizes from 1/4" to 3/4" or 6mm to 20mm. These benders are quick and easy to use for small tube sizes. The roller and clevis design allows greater leverage for bends over 90 degrees.
For larger tube sizes and larger production quantities Tube- Mac recommends the manual bench top “Tube” Bender. This bender has the capability of bending tubing ranging in size from 1/2" to 1-1/4" or 12mm to 30mm metric O/D sizes. Tube shoes can be ordered as a complete set or individually for imperial or metric tubing.
The Model 782 Hydraulic Pipe Bender can be operated by either an electric or pneumatic power pack. This bender is used on pipe between 1/2” to 2” nominal pipe sizes as well as 20mm through 60mm O/D metric pipe sizes. The follow bar guides the pipe during the cold bending process and eliminates the need for mandrels and lubricant residue in the pipe. It comes complete with a remote pendant for easier operation
The Model 885 Hydraulic Pipe Bender can also be operated by either an electric or pneumatic power pack. This bender is used on 2” and 4” nominal pipe sizes or 60mm to 115mm O/D metric pipe sizes. The external guides utilized in this bender eliminate the need for mandrels and lubricant residue in the pipe. This bender also features a remote pendant, which the operator can use to control the bend.
